How Google Plus Helps Your SEO and Online Marketing

Google Plus (Google+) is a social media platform owned by Google. This post explains how I use Google Plus for higher Google Search Rankings for myself and my clients.

I find that Google Plus (Google+) helps my SEO rankings and online marketing efforts.
Google Plus (Google+) is a social media platform owned by Google.  Some people may be dubious about using this platform because Google owns it.  They shouldn’t be.  That’s because using Google Tools always helps to achieve higher Google Search Rankings for your keywords.  This applies to websites and blogs too.

Faster Search Rankings

One Hour

The first thing I noticed when I began posting links to my newly published online articles on Google Plus to promte them was how fast Google indexed my Google Plus post.  Below is a screenshot showing it took only “1 hour ago” for Google to rank it #2 (organic results) for the keyword phrase “Contadora Island Panama” right behind the popular travel review website TripAdvisor and two spots ahead of a Wikipedia article.  Now that’s fast!

Two Hours

Only one hour later Google ranked my Google Plus post as #2 for a different keyword phrase “Contadora Island”.  See where it shows “2 hours ago” since I published it.

Three Hours

Here’s another screenshot showing how Google ranked my Google Plus post as #2 in only “3 hours ago”.

Top 3

Google Plus also helps with getting my original blog post in “Bigger Pockets” into Google Search Rankings as #1 and #2 as shown in the screenshot below.  I do not know why Google ranked the same blog post as both #1 and #2, but I am sure happy it did!  My Google Plus is ranked #3 for the same keyword phrase.

4 out of Google Top 5

The screenshot below shows how I got 4 out of the Google Top 5 for the keyword phrase “Navigate Tricky Property Showings” written for real estate agents.   My original post in the Realty Express Blog got the first three rankings in Google Search Results.  I do not know why Google ranked the same blog post (including two archives) as its first three results.  I am not complaining, just puzzled.  Ranked #5 is my Google Plus post promoting my original blog post.

Two Google Plus Posts in Google Top 8

The screenshot below shows how two of my Google Plus posts promoting another of my blog posts are ranked by Google as #7 and #8 for the keyword phrase “Successful Landing Pages” about how to write effective landing pages.

Getting 5 Posts into Google Top 5

Finally, the screenshot below shows how I wrote all of the Google Top 5 Search Rankings for the keyword phrase about mining real estate leads.  My original blog post for the Realty Express Blog is ranked #1 and #2.  The reason why my original blog post is ranked #1 and #2 is that at the time the Realty Express Blog had two versions of their website online simultaneously as one was to be replaced by the other.  In spite of these “mirror” websites which is considered a fatal SEO error, Google ranked both of them as its Top 2.  Google ranked as #3 my blog post in a real estate website called “Real Estate Webmasters” promoting my original blog post.  Coming in at #4 is my blog post in a real estate website called “Bigger Pockets” also promoting my original blog post.  My Google Plus post is ranked #5.  It is a rare feat to be the author of every Google Top 5 Search Rankings for the same keyword phase.

Conclusion

Google Plus really has helped my SEO efforts and my online marketing.  As you saw the screenshots above, not only with getting my Google Plus highly ranked, but doing it so fast.  Getting my Google Plus posts ranked in one to three hours is amazing.
In addition, my Google Plus posts promoting my other blog posts with several of them being highly ranked by Google for the same keyword phrase is mind-boggling.
Thank you, Google Plus.
